As an absentee owner, placing trust in someone 600 miles away who you have only met a few times is a leap of faith to be sure. I bought a small house in Black Mountain that needed to be refurbished. I met Randy Hughes who agreed to do the project. GREAT RESULTS! Randy’s knowledge, talent and integrity made this sad little home come alive. I knew immediately that I wanted Randy to build my new custom home. This project was even better. We worked closely together and I could not have been more pleased with the results. Every detail was taken care of with a great sense of pride and always a sense of humor. | Selecting a builder is a difficult decision, and we are very happy with the decision we made to have Randy Hughes build our home. Randy is fully committed to making sure the homeowners get what they want in their house, and that it is done right. That commitment continues after the house is completed. He works well with everyone involved, and if a problem did arise, he dealt with it in a way that made it easy for us.
He was also very committed to helping us keep our costs under control. I can honestly say that whatever cost overruns we had were the result of our own decisions. Randy did everything he said he would do within the budget and on schedule.
We have been in our house for almost a year now, and we love it. We really appreciate the dedication, integrity, and especially the flexibility that Randy demonstrated. The process was actually fun (most of the time) and the end result was spectacular.

| I met Randy through our Real Estate agent when we bought our home 4 years ago. Through a few phone conversations, I immediately trusted him to work on the house while we were still in L.A. to do a variety of projects. As a designer, I am very particular to detail and Randy gets it. We were so pleased that we had Randy do the build out of our basement. We then worked with Randy to build Spatheology, Suraj Salon, and then The Spa, Biltmore. Randy understands this level of detail and sophisticated finish work and he allows me some creative “modifications” to make improvements to the project as needed. I will be using Randy to build a custom home for myself in the near future, I trust him and he is my friend.
